The working group involves well-known experts in the sphere of education, scientists and heads of higher educational establishments, representatives of the employees’ association, bodies of students’ self-government, as well as ministries and departments.
According to the Chairperson of the Committee Liliya Hrynevych, this law should establish the basis of educational legislation.
“We should make this law human-centered. We should place the child, its development and broadening of potential throughout life, as well as the teacher and lecturer, improvement of their social status and motivation of qualification development, in the center of this law,” stressed Liliya Hrynevych addressing members of the working group.
Committee Chairperson drew attention to the fact that this bill should provide guarantees of the constitutional right to education. It should determine types of education and educational levels; state policy in the sphere of education and principles of management if the sphere of education, as well as authorities of governmental bodies in the sphere of education.
